To enjoy the full experience of a CCH eBook, your intended reading device will need to be compatible with the EPUB format and support Adobe DRM. The guidance for using our recommended supported devices is as follows.

To purchase and download a CCH eBook to read on your PC or Mac desktop/laptop computer you will need to take the following steps:
1. Download a free copy of Adobe Digital Editions to your desktop or laptop computer by clicking on the icon below. Please note, you may require administrator rights on your computer to complete this action.
2. Select your desired eBook on the CCH website and click on BUY.
3. Proceed to Checkout to review your account information and enter credit card details.
4. Click on the download link that appears on your transaction confirmation page.
5. Click Open on the following screen prompt [PC] or double click on the file in your download folder [Mac] and your eBook will automatically download and open in Adobe Digital Editions.

To purchase and download a CCH eBook to read on your iPad you will need to take the following steps:
1. You will need an Adobe account. If you do not already have an account you can create one for free by clicking on this Adobe link.
2. Install the Bluefire Reader on your iPad from the App Store.
3. Select your desired eBook on the CCH website and click on BUY.
4. Proceed to Checkout to review your account information and enter credit card details.
5. Click on the download link that appears on your transaction confirmation page.
6. Click on the Open in “Bluefire” button that appears on the next screen.
7. Enter your Adobe Digital Editions account details when prompted and your eBook will automatically download to the Bluefire reader. |
Other devices
CCH does not currently support other eReader and device combinations.
Many CCH eBooks are large and contain detailed tables. While a number of other eReader and device combinations support Adobe DRM-protected EPUB files, many of them are low specification and will not deliver acceptable response times or rendering to match the quality of your CCH eBook.
CCH cannot guarantee that these other combinations will either work properly or deliver a satisfactory eBook experience, so customers who purchase CCH eBooks to read on devices other than the PC/Mac or iPad/iPhone options recommended here do so at their own risk.
